July Favourites!

Hi Guys,

Wow this month has flown by! i can't believe its been a month since exams ended! I'm having the best summer so far that i've ever had! Being able to drive makes it so easy to go wherever, whenever :-)

These are my July favourites! Just some products i've really appreciated using during July. I do have a couple more which i love enough to dedicate a whole post to which will follow later!

Bourjois Maxi Frange Waterproof Mascara in "Noir Volcanique"

I've had this mascara for a few years and though it probably needs to be thrown out i just can't bring myself to! It's honestly amazing- it might just be this individual one as the non-waterproof version is clumpy and crap but we shall see when i repurchase it- Not only does it give my lashes incredible definition and length but its really unique in its formula. On contact with water it stays put! Or at worst pieces flake off rather than run, which makes it easy to wipe off!

Vaseline Rosy Lips

I bought this from my work place a while ago when it first came out but only recently fell in love! It's very moisturising, cheap and gives a beautiful colour to my lips. In my opinion it is half way between a lip balm and a lip gloss (more pigmented and noticeable than a lip balm but not as sticky as gloss) I think it just enhances the natural colour of your lips rather than just adding colour of its own! I love that i can wear it during the day and night!

MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation in NW15

I bought this last year but had to switch away as it turned out to be the wrong colour and i also switched to MAC Studio Fix Fluid (which i have now switched away from FYI) but on returning a little tanned from my holiday to Greece i realised this now matches me perfectly so leapt upon the opportunity to use it again! For me its a little to heavy for every day whole face use so i use it as extra coverage on my problem areas where i have spots and blemishes i.e my T-zone. For the rest of my face i use my newest foundation love (blog post to follow) but the studio sculpt gives a flawless finish!

Barry M nail paint in 308 Pale Purple

As someone who is constantly changing nail colours its odd for me to stick to one but i've just always reached for this one during July. The formulation is thick with a great colour payoff! And its also really cheap! This is definitely my summer nail varnish- i mean it, my nails have been this colour all through july which for me is very rare! So into the favourites it must go!

Hope you enjoyed my first post in wayyy to long!
Much love

  1. Hi, new follower here!

I have the BarryM nail polish and I absolutely love it. I had to order it online because I live in the US and so so sadly the drugstores here don't sell them. The only thing I didnt like about it is how it chipped so fast. But the color is so pretty.
